Site Services Officer

Grade 3
£17,173 – £18,870 FTE  (paid pro-rata)
Part Time 17.5 hours /week (split shift daily). Term time only (38 weeks) + 6 weeks
7.00am  – 8.00am & 4.00pm-6.30pm – Monday to Friday
The 6 weeks would be made up of the 5 teacher training days, 3 half term holidays and 2 weeks in the summer holiday.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Site Services Officer to join our friendly team.The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day Health and Safety, maintenance and janitorial duties at Hillfields Nursery School.
You would be supervising a team of cleaners to achieve the cleaning specification to deliver an outstanding quality of service.
This is a permanent contract with an initial probationary period. The successful candidate must have a clear DBS in line with ‘Keeping Children Safe In Education’

From September 2017 we will be offering a specialist Early Years PGCE with QTS and master credits.
If you are interested you need the following qualifications and experience:

  • An Undergraduate degree
  • Academic achievement equivalent of a grade C in GCSE examinations in English, Maths and Science
  • Before commencing the course you will be required to pass the numeracy and literacy skills test
  • A minimum of four weeks classroom experience
  • Medical fitness
