To all our new families. Sadly we are unable to invite you in to our parents meeting this year however, we have made a video presentation for you to access at home.
Dear Parents,
Sesame Street have done a short episode where questions are answered by doctors. It will be helpful to find a time to sit down with your child to share it together. It may start them talking about the changes we are currently experiencing.
Dear parents
Judith has release the next 4 episodes of Tizz Time. We hope you are enjoying them as much as we are.
As you know we have been doing some work with our preschool children around protective behaviours. It talks about them feeling safe.
Judith, who has been supporting this learning has continued with the sessions during this period of lockdown by releasing Tizz Time on her YouTube channel.
Follow the links below to access the episodes
Tizz Time Episode 1 – Giants and Snails
Tizz Time Episode 2 – When Caramel was lost
Tizz Time Episode 3 – Tizz’s Special Stones
Tizz Time Episode 4 – Invisible Bubbles
We are working with the Violence Reduction Unit on a Community Project. The preschool children have had sessions on protective behaviours. Our school community has worked together to make hands to hug the building during the 10 days of peace. There will be hands in other places too.
There are lots of activities happening to promote peace and community.
Look out for your hands 🙂
Even some of the smallest changes can make a big difference to your child.
Children love it when you chat, play and read with them, even if they do not understand everything. Whatever the time and wherever you are, you can turn almost anything into a game.
And every little thing you do together will help set them up for the day they start school.
There are lots of ideas on the following website
